Bridge Workshop

Our Spring Fundraiser a bridge workshop presented by Audrey Grant’s Better Bridge, was an outstanding success. The workshop was held on April 20, 2012 at the Burlington Golf and Country Club and was a sold out event with over 200 participants.

The generosity of those who attended and our sponsors helped the Centre raised over $13,000.00

This money will enable Nelson Youth Centres to continue to provide services and support to children and youth in the Halton Region with mental health issues.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Audrey Grant , Kathy Frigon, Jane Love and her organizing committee, our participants, event sponsors, merchants and raffle donors.

Your belief in the work that we do has truly made a difference in the lives of the children and families in our community.

Congratulations to our raffle winner Shirley Jordan, who plays bridge at the Roseland Club in Burlington. She will enjoy two days of bridge this September at Windermere House in Muskoka while attending Audrey Grant’s Fall Bridge Retreat (www.betterbridge.com)
